• Identify and define queues of work in select ECC areas (referral center, new patient lines, and radiology services)
• Optimize ECC staffing levels using mathematical models to predict workloads based on historical data
• Implemented new staffing schedules developed using simulation-optimization models, which improved performance metrics related to patient accessibility by 12.5% at the same FTE

  • Develop and validate hybrid Agent-Based Simulation models to identify Emergency Department physician shifts that can improve patient flow and patient safety.

  • Develop mathematical models to identify optimal Emergency Department physician staffing levels for a given day to improve patient flow and safety while considering the staffing budget.

  • Analyzing and interpret physiological data recorded from the medical sensors to aid in decision-making.

  • Conduct statistical analysis of biomarkers output to comprehend provider stress, fatigue, and other parameters.

  • To work closely with the production manager to meet the production requirements and manage a line that had eight employees.

  • Reduced the change over time by 1.5 hours by training the staff for the dedicated process and using power tools.

  • Replaced powered conveyor belts by gravity conveyor rollers thereby conserving the energy and reducing the cost by $12000 annually.

  • Promoted the idea to the Senior Production Manager to introduce Cyclic Preventive Maintenance Service (CPMS) in between primary Preventive Maintenance Service.

  • To manage the inventory and ensure the flow of entities in the system.

  • Introduced numbered bins for storing 6000 odd medicines thereby reducing the time for retrieval of products by 20% and manual efforts by ~ 1000 working hours/year.

  • Introduced new storage systems like single pallet rack for weightless products and floor storage for heavy products and LIFO products which in turn improved the order retrieval by 15% and improved the order retrieval efficiency by 25%.

  • Introduced SKU’s by working with ERP software team, in turn, increasing the revenue by 7%.
